Privacy policy
About this policy
Version: 20 September 2026. This policy covers GRIDCRAFT for iOS and Android. The game is published by Marcin Jasinski, operating as mindmotion.tech, who is the controller for support correspondence and other personal data processed under his responsibility. Contact for support and privacy: contact@mindmotiontech.com.
Your game stays on your device
The game saves island progress, move history, completed-island gallery, ad-gate unlocks and language, sound and animation preferences locally on your device. GRIDCRAFT has no game account, cloud save, chat or user uploads, and no game backend receives your saved boards. Device or operating-system backups may include app data according to your settings. The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise GPS location.
Advertising and Google AdMob
After every five islands up to island 45, completing a rewarded advertisement unlocks the next group of five. You choose when to start the ad, but completing it is required to continue past that gate. Previously unlocked islands remain playable without another ad at that gate. Ads require internet and ad availability. GRIDCRAFT integrates Google AdMob and requests non-personalized advertising. This does not mean that advertisements process no personal data. Depending on the platform, SDK configuration and your choices, Google may process IP address and approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad views and taps, app interactions, crash reports and performance information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. These services may receive information directly from your device. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. GRIDCRAFT has no separate publisher-operated analytics service.
Advertising choices
Where required, the production app presents Google’s consent flow before requesting an advertisement. In production releases, open Settings → Ad privacy settings to review available choices. Options depend on your region and the advertising service. Test builds may show demonstration ads and omit the production consent controls. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Your choices and ad availability can affect whether the next group can be unlocked. You can also manage advertising identifiers in your device settings. The current app does not ask for Apple App Tracking Transparency permission; this is not a claim that every advertising identifier or SDK data flow is absent.
Support, purposes and legal grounds
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, investigate a fault or handle your privacy rights. Do not send passwords or sensitive information. Where the GDPR applies, support and service security rely on our legitimate interests in operating the game and answering requests; processing necessary to provide a requested service may rely on performance of a contract. We use consent for advertising storage or processing where required by law, and legal obligation when responding to statutory duties. Ad providers describe their own grounds and roles in their policies. You do not need to send a support message to play.
Recipients, transfers and retention
Our email service provider processes correspondence for delivery and storage. Google and its advertising service providers process ad-related data; the app stores process distribution and store-account information under their own policies. Providers may process data outside the EEA. Applicable transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions, are described in their policies; contact us for information about transfers under our responsibility. Local game data remains until you remove it. Support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after the request is closed, unless a legal obligation or a specific legal claim requires longer retention. Advertising providers set their own retention periods; uninstalling GRIDCRAFT does not itself erase data already held by them.
Deleting data and exercising your rights
To remove local progress on Android, clear the app’s storage in system settings or uninstall the app. On iOS, delete the app rather than offloading it. Manage any device/cloud backup separately; restoring a backup may restore game data. We cannot restore a deleted save because we do not hold a copy. To request deletion of support correspondence or exercise applicable access, correction, restriction, portability or objection rights, email contact@mindmotiontech.com. We may need proportionate information to identify the relevant correspondence. You may withdraw consent where applicable and complain to your supervisory authority, including the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. For data controlled by Google or an app store, use that provider’s privacy tools or contact it directly.
Children, security and changes
GRIDCRAFT does not ask players for their date of birth or knowingly solicit children’s personal information through a game account. If a child sends personal information to support, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its removal. Follow the applicable store age rating and parental controls. The game uses the device’s storage protections, and integrated services use their security measures; no system guarantees absolute security. We update the date of this policy when practices change and provide additional notice or consent requests where required.
