About this policy

Version: 19 September 2026. This policy covers SCAR: Fractured Paths for iOS and Android and its browser test version. Publisher and contact: Marcin Jasinski (mindmotion.tech), contact@mindmotiontech.com. The publisher is responsible for data processed to answer support and privacy requests. Advertising providers also process data under their own policies.

Game progress

Level progress, best move counts, language, sound and animation preferences are saved locally on your device. SCAR has no account, cloud save, chat, user uploads or developer-operated analytics service. We do not receive your saved progress. Operating-system or browser backups may retain a copy according to your backup settings.

Optional rewarded advertising

The mobile game integrates Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads are offered only when you choose an additional hint. Undo and restart are free, and the first hint in an attempt is free. Gameplay does not require watching an ad. The browser test version does not load AdMob ads; it may show a clearly labelled reward simulation.

Data processed by advertising services

Google’s SDKs may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device and app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and privacy choices. Purposes include delivering and measuring ads, security and fraud prevention. SCAR requests non-personalised ads; this does not mean that no data is processed. The game does not request precise location, contacts, camera or microphone access, or request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission.

Your advertising choices

Before requesting an ad, the mobile game checks with UMP whether ads may be requested and displays a consent form when required and available. Requirements depend on your region, age-related configuration and provider rules. Where required, you can reopen privacy options through Settings → Ad privacy. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also manage advertising identifiers in device settings. An ad may be unavailable after a choice; you can continue playing without it.

Support and legal bases

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Where European data-protection law applies, we process support correspondence to respond to your request, based on our legitimate interest in supporting players; consent applies where required for advertising storage or processing, and legal obligations may require processing rights requests. Provider-specific purposes and legal bases are described in Google’s privacy information. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.

Recipients, transfers and retention

Advertising and consent services are provided by Google and its service providers; email providers process support messages. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its transfer information. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google transfer frameworks. Local game data remains until you clear it; backup retention follows your own settings. Advertising data follows the provider’s retention rules. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations or handle related claims. Uninstalling the game does not delete information already held by advertising or email providers.

Deletion and your rights

There is no SCAR account to delete. On Android, clear the app’s storage in system settings; on iOS, delete the app (offloading alone retains data); for the browser version, clear site data. Manage any device or cloud backups separately. These actions remove local progress and settings and cannot be undone through our support service. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Email contact@mindmotiontech.com. We cannot retrieve game data held only on your device. You may complain to your local supervisory authority; in Poland, this is UODO.

Children and changes

SCAR is not designed as a child-directed service. Store age ratings and local requirements apply. Do not send personal information about children in support messages unless needed to resolve a privacy request. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We update the date on this page when this policy changes and provide additional notice or request renewed consent where required.
